The night carried out better than anyone could hope. Coming to originally enjoy the laid back atmosphere and free food, students of all majors and year levels came together for one common goal which was to address anything and everything they saw wrong with Ringling Campus life. Not only were facility and safety concerns brought up but also issues that we don’t really give thought to such as classroom etiquette and unwanted rivalry between majors. By the end of the night over 105 ideas were recorded with the students in a happier and more relieved
mood.
With the resounding success of the first Whine and Cheese event, the Executive Board is seeking to repeat the experience once again in the 2012 spring semester with hopes of making it a once per semester major event. The Student Government Association is looking for every way to get feedback from the students about what needs to be done around campus and this seemed to have the biggest impact thus far. So, write down your whines and complaints and bring them to this open forum with other students who are just as passionate as you.
